Engr. Seth Ayim is a professionally qualified Chartered Construction Manager certified by the Chartered Institute of Building in UK and a Professional Engineer – Civil Engineering / Construction/ Building division, certified by the Ghana Institution of Engineering and Technology, Ghana. He has the Full Technological Certificate and the final certificates in Quantity Surveying from City and Guilds of London Institute, UK
He has additionally undertaken Certificate Courses in Leading and Managing people, Time Management, construction supervision and control and many more at Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and other institutions. He has been the beneficiary of several Management and technical seminars and conferences in and outside the country
He has been involved in the execution of large construction projects from conception through tender to completion. Seth is highly skilled in developing project briefs, execution, supervision and coordination of all technical aspects of field engineering assignments including quality control. His career profile in the Built Environment indicates a rich experience from a front-line supervisor through middle level to management with 35 years of accumulated experience.
Engr. Seth Ayim joined the IET in March 2001 and has previously served on the IET Council for some four terms as well as various committees. Before his appointment he was the Executive Director of Construction and Allied Services- a construction company in Real Estates and Building & Civil Engineering works.
