WiE Awards Scholarships to Female Undergraduate Students

Event Overview

Application Process:

1. Eligibility Criteria:
   • Female undergraduate students studying engineering or STEM-related disciplines.
   • Needy students facing financial constraints.
   • Age limit: Not more than 25 years old.
   • Membership of the IET-Ghana Student Chapter is an added advantage.
2. Required Documents:
   • Admission letter from the educational institution.
   • Official school transcript demonstrating academic performance.
   • Letter of recommendation from the head of the department or a faculty member.
   • Birth certificate or any other official document verifying age.
3. Selection Process:
   • Applications will be reviewed by a panel of judges comprising representatives from the IET-Ghana.
   • Selection criteria include academic performance, financial need, and potential impact in the engineering field.
   • Shortlisted candidates may be required to undergo interviews or additional assessments.
4. Award Notification:
   • Successful applicants will be notified via email or phone.
   • Scholarship recipients will receive details regarding the disbursement of funds and any additional requirements.
