The Institute of Engineering and Technology, Ghana (IET-GH) inducted more than 80 new engineers into the engineering profession in the middle belt of the country, Kumasi on 5th September 2026.

In an address by the President, he emphasised the need to build and shape Ghana’s engineering future around three fundamental pillars:

  1. Innovation – developing creative and homegrown engineering solutions to our challenges.
  2. Integrity – upholding professionalism, ethics, accountability and competence in the practice of engineering.
  3. Sustainable Development – delivering engineering solutions that meet today’s needs while protecting the interests and resources of future generations.

The ceremony brought together newly inducted engineers, institutional leadership, traditional authorities, and stakeholders from the Middle Belt Sector, underscoring IET-GH’s commitment to professional excellence across Ghana.
